Not related to this post, but have you noticed this? A Swedish company is out offering a piracy insurance that pays the bill, if you get sued for piracy.

What do you think how will lawmakers and IM lobbyists answer to that?

I've read about this - my impression is that it would be legally problematic for this kind of insurance to be sold in the United States. On the other hand, the protection is from civil liability, so why should this be difference, say, that medical malpractice insurance?
